We were very fortunate to have Laeticia Gomes – with us for 3 full days. Ms Laeticia is an ex Loreto Sealdah primary school teacher, a fantastic teacher trainer and now for the last 12 years is teaching in Ireland. Ms. Laeticia, voluntarily conducted 3 days workshop on 5th,12th and 19th February 2022, in Bhalobasha and in Charunibash . 7 teachers of our primary level and 1 teacher from a private village school participated. Methods of introducing formal education, phonetics, story telling, pattern to writing skills, integration of art into formal learning, followed by demonstration of a teaching method in both the pre-primary and primary level, with action songs, creative thinking and story telling, was part of her training content . Our teachers and students will surely benefit from such exposure. We will keep connecting with Ms. Laeticia who willingly agreed to extend her support in every possible way. We thank her for the generosity and the love.
